With this new expansion, all private schools can now register free of cost within the deadline period.

A. What We are Doing

The Student Digital Health Profile is not just a record — it is a public health infrastructure for children’s well-being and lifelong care. Through this initiative, Tokha Municipality and Hamro Health will:

  • Create a secure, integrated health recording system to document all school-based health activities.

  • Identify health issues early (e.g., vision problems, malnutrition, chronic conditions) to prevent complications.

  • Track public health trends across schools, enabling data-driven policy decisions and targeted interventions.

  • Ensure continuity of care — students who move between schools will carry a consistent and accurate health summary.

  • Strengthen coordination between schools and the municipal health system for faster referrals and better care.

B. How This Benefits Everyone

For Children

  • A personal digital health record including growth charts, screenings, immunizations, allergies, chronic conditions, and clinic visits.

  • Early detection of common issues (vision, hearing, nutrition) to improve school performance and overall well-being.

  • A foundation for healthier adulthood through continuous health tracking.

For Parents and Families

  • Clear, documented health updates and follow-up recommendations for their children.

  • Reduced paperwork and fewer chances of losing important health information.

  • Improved health literacy, helping parents make informed decisions about care.

For Schools and Educators

  • Structured, actionable data to plan school health programs (screenings, health talks, counseling).

  • Improved attendance and academic outcomes by addressing preventable health problems.

  • A visible commitment to student well-being, strengthening trust with parents and the community.

For the Municipality

  • A centralized database of student health records across Tokha.

  • Analysis of trends in nutrition, growth, and vision for informed policymaking.

  • Evidence-based allocation of resources and school health budgeting.

  • A stronger public health foundation, ensuring healthier citizens and reducing long-term healthcare burdens.

C. Data Protection, Consent and Confidentiality

Tokha Municipality and Hamro Health Pvt. Ltd. place the highest priority on student privacy and data security.

  • Parental consent will be obtained before data collection.

  • Restricted access will be given only to authorized school and municipal health staff.

  • Secure storage: Data will be stored on Hamro Health servers and handed to the municipality after digitization.

  • Anonymized reporting will be used for trend analysis and planning, protecting individual identities.

D. What Kind of Student Health Information is Stored?

  • Vaccination records from municipal health programs.

  • Deworming and iron supplementation campaign data.
